So I dont have any sleeping pills, so guess what i'm not doing? If you said 'sleeping', then you are NOT AN IDIOT! You get this glove full or mustard, and this old pickle that I found under a donut. Hmmm, I wonder if I am hungry for weird food? Maybe not.
So the recording is going well, not fantastic, but pretty allright. as Cigah! we have another trick up our sleeve that should bring the ability to master better sounding music. It's a little trick of exporting into something that has better mastering abilities, but I won't bore you with the details, as you pretty much dont care. All it means is get ready for some relase quality Cigah! to be coming your way as soon as I do it.
In the same world of music, I started doing a cover from a song in which I think I swore I would never do a cover of. I think. Though, I'm pretty sure there have been lots of bands that I swear not to do covers of. Like Yani... and maybe... uhh... something? Anyway, I'm working on the one Smashing Pumpkins song that didnt make me want to hurt people and blame it on nasel singing. If you guessed "Disarm" then you too, uh, are not... something else.
It's getting symphoniced up a bit, paying special attention to the cymbol rolls and timpani and the like. I'm going for that really impactful feel that it had in the beginning. I was looking at the words and it seemed like a pretty good way to say "fuck off" to my mom. Not that I need other ways to say it, that way works pretty well.
Actually I lied, it didnt do a damn of good. Atleast this allows me to do it over and over again.
I started building my chops, and getting better at sweep arpeggios. I mean, I can do them, but I wanna try to get atleast half the speed that Mr. Small has on his psychotic stuff. Figure, if I just keep working on it, I can get it eventually, and its not like I have much else better to do.
Well, if any of you out there have a song request, drop me a comment, and I'll work on it. Doesnt mean it will get fully done, but I'll give it a shot.
